Who We Are
Who We Are
For generations (since 1811), Scott Memorial UMC has been a part of the Cadiz and Harrison County community. We have seen and been a part of God moving in powerful ways. Today, the church is striving to continue this faith-filled witness, by being the hands and and feet of Jesus to our community. The goal is to bring help, hope, healing, and lasting change through the power of Jesus to anyone who needs it. In this way, we will make a difference where God has placed us today and leave a legacy of love and faith that will carry on for generations to come. You’re invited to become a part of this movement of God. Bring your heart, your gifts, dreams, and talents, and let us build together!
Our faith community is a United Methodist congregation. The church's mission statement is "To make and mature disciples of Jesus Christ for the transformation of the world." This mission statement informs and drives all that we do as the body of Christ in our community and around the world. For more information about the United Methodist Church, click here.
